Under the guidance and support of the Ministry of Science and Technology, the China Association of Science and Technology, the State Intellectual Property Office, the All - China Federation of Trade Unions, the Equipment Development Department of the Central Military Commission, the Central Committee of the China Democratic Alliance and the Science and Technology Daily, the 10th International Exhibition of Inventions and the 3rd World Invention and Innovation Forum sponsored by the China Invention Association and the International Federation of Inventors' Associations (IFIA) and hosted by the Foshan Municipal People's Government were held in Foshan International Exhibition Center from 13 to 15 September, 2018.

With the theme of Invention Realizes Dreams, Innovation Leads the Future, this exhibition attracted more than 300 foreign guests from 62 countries/regions and 2 world organizations, and thousands of exhibitors participated in the exhibition, with a total of more than 4000 invention and innovation projects at home and abroad.

At the third World Invention and Innovation Forum held in the same period, two Nobel laureates Goerge Smoot and Luc Montagni and several academicians were invited to attend and deliver keynote speeches, as well as thematic forums such as global technological innovation and industrial cooperation, and integration of defense and civilian technologies' development. The invention and innovation VIPS were gathered here.
 
Guangzhou Kingser Electronics Co., Ltd. won the gold medal for its invention patent product ‘Semiconductor No-arc Device’.
